Review by customer Martyn Cummings of Imagine Pictures
“ I have had the 'Uncovered' album for a few days now and thought it was time to offer a review.
One word- wow! This CD hasn't been out of my CD player since I put it in there- MADISON's offerings are amazing, but to be honest I expected that, although now I’ve heard them properly they come across as a melting pot of such great bands as Bon Jovi and am I right in assuming Matchbox 20? I think there’s a lot of Rob Thomas in those breathy lyrics. Last Breath another amazing band, in my opinion, headed for big things. The list goes on. I can’t even pick out a dislike from the artist listing, each one of them has brought something to the album and when all the building blocks are assembled what you get is a fantastic mix of musical intensity that somehow seems to elude some of the big sellers of recent times. It’s the experimental type of thing I’m talking about - too many artists these days find what sells and stick with it until the formulae just wilts and gets played to death, Colin Heppells' Brilliant 'Poltergiest in High Heels' is a song that has an identity crisis, written in the 21st century but to listen to it you'd think it was a cover from the 60s, reminds me a lot of The Kinks or Pink Floyds early stuff. This isn’t a bad thing, Like I said, everything song on this album has its place and this one is no exception, I love it.
I could go on about all the individual artists on the album but I have so much praise for each one I’d be here all day and the review would get monotonous.
So, I’ll just say this, all the bands on this album could give any seasoned artist a run for their money and if there’s any justice at all in this world all of them have a VERY bright and successful future ahead of them. BUY THE CD AND SEE FOR YOURSELF"
